Situated in the picturesque village of Layham on the edge of Dedham Vale, The Marquis is a refurbished 16th century building boasting views across the Brett river and offers easy access to the A12.

All guests are required to provide photo identification and the card used for making the booking upon check-in. Check-out time is up until 11:00. If you depart after this time late check-out fees would apply starting from GBP 35. Guests will be required to provide a GBP 25 pre authorisation upon Check In. This will require a Credit/Debit Card. Please note that from 13th March 2022, due to ongoing construction work, we will no longer have mobility access. Please be aware that there could be some noise disturbances from 07:30, Monday–Friday.
