How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Discovery Basin is Sacramento, 34 minutes drive away.

Chico Muni, Modesto City, San Francisco and Reno Tahoe airports are all within three hours drive.

Sacramento is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The five ski lifts are able to uplift 3,400 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

When is Discovery Basin open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

We don't yet have specific details of the COVID-19 precautions being taken in Discovery Basin, but they are likely to include most of the following :-
