Schweitzer

Popular for its wide open slopes, friendly atmosphere, challenging terrain and lack of lift queues, this mountain features open powder chutes, gladed terrain and 55 designated trails contained within two bowls. Night skiing operates to 2100 from Thursdays to Saturdays on two chairs.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Schweitzer is Appleton, 37 minutes drive away.

Austin Straubel, Central Wisconsin, Mitchell/Milwaukee and Madison airports are all within three hours drive.

Appleton and Austin Straubel are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

When is Schweitzer open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Mid April.
