10% Off Chamonix Lift Passes for Online Advance Purchase

10% Off Chamonix Lift Passes for Online Advance Purchase

Published : 19-Sep-2016 06:18

Anyone needing a 6-9 day lift pass for the Chamonix Valley can save around 10% by buying their pass at least three days in advance online this winter. Lift company the Compagnie du Mont Blanc say this is the equivalent of a buy-5-days-get-one-day-free deal.

The discount, valid for the Chamonix Le Pass ticket (covering the Brevent-Flegere area, Grands Montets area (summit not included), Balme Tour Vallorcine area, Vormaine area, Chosalets area, Savoy area and Planards area) brings the cost of a 6 day adult ticket down from 252.50 to 230 Euros, and for children aged 5-15 and seniors aged 65 to 79 down from 214.60 to 195.50.

The discount is also available on the Mont Blanc Unlimited Pass which covers in addition Aiguille du Midi, Les Houches area, Courmayeur in Italy, the Verbier 4 Vallées area in Switzerland and the Evasion Mont-Blanc - St Gervais or Megève area (terms and conditions apply).

A 6 day adult lift pass is the most expensive in the Eurozone at 299 Euros but reduces to 275 Euros with advanced online purchase.

A 6 day child ticket is believed to be the most expensive in Europe including Switzerland as, even with the strong Franc, the Swiss tend to give generous child discounts. It costs 254.20 Euros for children aged 5-15 and seniors aged 65 to 79, or 233.80 Euros with the online advance purchase discount.
