Big Snowfalls in Eastern US

There have been huge snowfalls along the East Coast of North America over the past week – transforming snow conditions ahead of the Easter holidays.
Some ski areas in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont have reported yup to 60cm (two feet) of snowfall in 24 hours, and nearly four feet (120cm) of fresh snow in the past week.

There's also been lots of snow north of the border in Quebec.
The East got off to a snowy start to the 2017-18 season at the end of last year with some big December and January snowfalls but the winter 'stalled' in February when temperatures warmed, rain fell and some areas were forced to end their seasons early.
Resorts like Killington in Vermont, the largest in the region with more than 160 runs, had stayed open in February but with less than half their runs open. They're now back to fully operational and its looking good for them to continue their tradition of staying open for snowsports in to June.
