One of the finest luxury ski hotels in Austria, if not the Alps, the Post Lech Arlberg is delightfully relaxed compared to its more formal rivals and rates comfortably as our favourite hotel in Lech. Originally a staging post, it has been in the Moosbrugger family for over 60 years and is now run by Florian and his wife, Sandra. The Post Lech Arlberg's restaurant is excellent with a superb wine list featuring many interesting Austrian wines. Facilities are naturally five star and include a superb swimming pool and spa. The Gasthof post is extremely popular so early booking is highly recommended - it also operates a strict Sunday to Sunday booking policy, except in very low season.
