Nestled in a wooded valley, Gidleigh Park boasts 107 acres of mature grounds, within the wilds of Dartmoor. With an award winning restaurant, this estate is just 6 minutes’ drive from Chagford.
Important Information
Please inform Gidleigh Park- A Relais & Chateaux Hotel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Guests are advised to book a table in advance if they wish to dine in the restaurant during their stay. Please note that the restaurant has a 'smart casual' dress code. When dining, guests should refrain from wearing denim, shorts, or trainers and gentlemen must wear a collared shirt. Children are welcome to join us in the restaurant until 8.00pm, with last orders being placed by 7.00pm. As well as The Garden Menu for V.I.L.P (very important little people) smaller portions can be enjoyed from any of our 'grown up' menus. When booking 4 rooms or more, or 10 nights or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. For prepaid rates, the card used to make the booking will be required on check-in. If you are booking on behalf of another guest, please contact the property.

This self-contained thatched cottage is situated in the grounds of the estate. It boasts an open plan, panelled sitting room with a kitchenette and a private veranda which overlooks the croquet lawn. The 2 bedrooms each offer an en suite bathroom.
Luxury Suite with Spa Bath (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This spacious suite boasts a sitting area opening on to a private balcony with stunning views. It features a luxurious bathroom, comprising of a large spa bath, a double shower, steam room, and a sauna.
