Panorama Motor Lodge is close to cafés and restaurants, is only a 3-minute walk to the CBD and has panoramic sea or city views from most units. It is ideally suited for corporate customers, travellers and families. There is a range of units including studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom family units. They are spacious with modern decor and free Wi-Fi is available to all guests.
Timaru is situated on the main coastal road between Christchurch (2-hour drive) and Dunedin (2.5-hour drive). We are also close to the route to Aoraki Mt Cook, being a 1.5-hour drive away.

Studio (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
These Studio units have Alpine Views and either a balcony or courtyard. Some units have a spa bath. If you would like a unit with a spa bath then please request this at time of booking. All Studios feature a kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities. There is a Queen size bed in the lounge area as well as a Flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select
One-Bedroom Suite (Double, Sleeps 3)
The One Bedroom Suite has a balcony or courtyard overlooking Caroline Bay. There is a kitchenette and a private bathroom. There is a queen bed in bedroom and a sofa bed in the Lounge. There is a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select. Please note the sofa bed is on request only, please make contact directly.
Two-Bedroom Suite (Family, Sleeps 5, 1 Bathroom)
The Two Bedroom Suite has either a balcony or courtyard that has an Alpine View. There is a queen bed in one bedroom and the second bedroom has two single beds. Please note that bedding configurations may differ. There is a full kitchen and separate lounge area that has a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select. You have a private bathroom with some units having a spa bath, please request this at time of booking if you would like one.
Superior One-Bedroom Suite (Sleeps 2, 1 Bathroom)
The Superior One Bedroom Suite has a balcony or courtyard with views overlooking Caroline Bay. There is a kitchenette and a private bathroom. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select in the lounge.
Deluxe One-Bedroom Suite (Sleeps 3, 1 Bathroom)
Newly renovated One Bedroom Suite has a balcony or courtyard overlooking Caroline Bay. There is a kitchenette and a private bathroom. There is a queen bed in bedroom and a sofa bed in the Lounge. There is a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select. Please note you will be charged extra for the sofabed.
Studio - Disability Access (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Guests can make meals in the kitchenette that has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. The studio features a private entrance, soundproof walls, a terrace with mountain views as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower. The unit has 1 bed.
