At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. It is not located very close to Myrdal station, it's located 1,5 km from Myrdal.

Please note that this hotel is only accessible by train and it is not possible to drive to the property. It is always important to check the timetable at www.vy.no because the train schedule can be changed. Please contact Vatnahalsen Høyfjellshotell for more information. The Flåm Railway stops at the Vatnahalsen Station, the stop after Myrdal Station, 50 metres from the hotel. Guests coming by other trains from Flåm need to get off at the stop before Myrdal Station. During winter, it's not possible to walk to the hotel from Myrdal.
