The surrounding countryside is a mix of meadows, forests and mountains, offering opportunities for hiking and cycling in a tranquil natural environment. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and bars 3 km away in Cangas de Onis.
Los Falares de la Abuela Berta are located an hour's drive from the Asturian capital Oviedo, and the coast is a 25-minute drive away.
