La Thuile is a charming ski resort located in Italy's Aosta Valley. It offers a mix of slopes for all levels, stunning mountain views, and excellent snow conditions.

The ski area of La Thuile is in the Italian Alps at an altitude of 1,450m, with 146km of marked runs.

La Thuile is part of the Espace San Bernardo ski area with access to 156km of downhill skiing, with 82 marked pistes, served by a total of 38 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in La Thuile itself (146km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Espace San Bernardo ski resort of La Rosière. La Thuile is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of La Rosière.

With ski lifts as high as 2,610m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing

The ski area of La Thuile extends up to 2,640 meters, featuring a variety of runs from gentle beginner slopes to challenging black pistes. Notable lifts include the Les Suches and the Botton d'Oro, while the famous pistes like the 'Pista 3' and 'Pista 5' offer thrilling descents for all skill levels.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders can enjoy the terrain parks at La Thuile, including the well-maintained park located near the top of the Les Suches lift. The varied terrain ensures fun for both beginners and advanced riders.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to La Thuile is Geneva, 90 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Sion, Turin Caselle, Milan Malpensa, Chambery, Milan Linate, Turin Cuneo, Bergamo and Genoa airports are all within three hours drive.

La Thuile is easily accessible via major airports, with Geneva Airport being the closest international hub, about 150 km away. From there, you can take a train or shuttle service to reach the resort.

Ski Lift Capacity

The 18 ski lifts are able to uplift 34,550 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 35km of ski runs, with 400 snow cannons.

When is La Thuile open?

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Late April.
