The 'She Leads' coaching development programme for British snowsports coaches will return in autumn 2026.
The initiative, run by Snowsport England, aims to increase the number of qualified female coaches and instructors by providing funded training, mentoring and ongoing professional support.
Applications are now open for ten places on the new programme, which will begin in October 2026 and run for 24 months.
Successful applicants will receive a funded Snowsport England coaching or instructing qualification, a dedicated female mentor, access to coaching development workshops, and networking opportunities throughout the programme.
According to Snowsport England, most members of the first 'She Leads' cohort have now completed their coaching or instructing qualifications.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, identify as female, be a member of Snowsport England, and either hold or be working towards the organisation's Foundation Instructor Award or Foundation Coach Award.
