Judenberg is a beautiful small town in southern Austria with a history dating back at least 1000 years. There are three basic drag lifts serving a compact local ski area.

A major centre of the Austrian steel industry, the name Judenburg means Jew's mountain and the town has a strong Jewish community. Sadly during World War II, a subcamp of the Mauthausen concentration camp was located nearby


The Austrian ski resort of Judenburg is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 741m, with 10km of marked runs.

Judenburg has direct access to 10km of downhill skiing, with 5 marked pistes, served by a total of 3 ski lifts.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.


There is skiing to suit a range of abilities.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Judenburg is Graz, 64 minutes drive away.

Klagenfurt, Linz, Vienna, Ljubljana, Salzburg and Zagreb airports are all within three hours drive.

Graz is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The three ski lifts are able to uplift 3,300 skiers and snowboarders every hour.
