Saalbach Hinterglemm

The Austrian ski resort of Saalbach Hinterglemm is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,000m, with 200km of marked runs.


Saalbach Hinterglemm is part of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn area with access to 270km of downhill skiing, with 117 marked pistes, served by a total of 70 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Saalbach Hinterglemm itself (200km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski resorts of Fieberbrunn and Leogang.

With ski lifts as high as 2,019m, snow cover is generally reliable.


There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

 By Air

The nearest airport to Saalbach Hinterglemm is Salzburg, 100 minutes drive away.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Mid April.
