Kaprun is part of the Europa Sport Region ski area with access to 130km of downhill skiing, with 81 marked pistes, served by a total of 53 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Kaprun itself (130km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Europa Sport Region ski resorts of Kitzsteinhorn and Zell am See.

Skiing
The Kitzsteinhorn glacier rises to an elevation of 3,203 meters, offering a variety of terrains. Key ski areas include the Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn, featuring notable pistes like the Black Mamba and the Gletscherjet lift system for easy access to the slopes.
There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.
Snowboarding
