Summary

Bad Hofgastein is part of the Gastein ski area with access to 205km of downhill skiing, with 178 marked pistes, served by a total of 50 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Bad Hofgastein itself (175km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Gastein ski resorts of Bad Gastein, Dorfgastein, Graukogel and Sportgastein.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bad Hofgastein is Salzburg, 80 minutes drive away.

Linz, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana, Innsbruck Airport, Graz and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.

Usual opening is late December, and usual closing is Mid April.
