In addition to the skiing in Zell am See itself (80km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Europa Sport Region ski resorts of Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn.

Skiing

The Schmittenhöhe mountain rises to 2,000 meters and features numerous ski areas including the Maiskogel. Notable pistes include the Trass Abfahrt and the Schmittental, while the modern lifts like the Areitbahn and Schmittenhöhebahn ensure quick access to the slopes.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Zell am See is Salzburg, 90 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Munich, Klagenfurt, Linz and Ljubljana airports are all within three hours drive.

The resort is easily accessible via Salzburg Airport, located about 80 km away. Regular train services also connect Zell am See to major cities in Austria, making travel convenient.
