The ski area of Briançon is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,200m.

Summary

Briançon is part of the Serre Chevalier ski area with access to 250km of downhill skiing, with 111 marked pistes, served by a total of 77 ski lifts. From Briançon you can ski to the other villages of Chantemerle, Monêtier les Bains and Villeneuve.

With ski lifts as high as 2,540m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

The nearest airport to Briançon is Chambery, 100 minutes drive away.
