Rittner Horn is a hidden gem in the Dolomites. With panoramic views and family-friendly slopes, it caters to all skill levels.

 Summary

Located just above Bolzano, Rittner Horn offers a delightful mix of skiing and breathtaking scenery. The resort features 15 kilometers of slopes and a variety of lifts, ensuring smooth access to all areas.

The ski area of Rittner Horn is in the Italian Dolomites at an altitude of 1,500m, with 15km of marked runs.

Rittner Horn is part of the Ortler Skiarena area with access to 123 marked pistes, served by a total of 79 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Rittner Horn itself (15km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ortler Skiarena ski resorts of Haideralm, Latsch Tarscheralm, Maseben, Mendel Ruffrè, Meran 2000, Pfelders, Reinswald, Schnalstal, Schöneben, Schwemmalm, Sulden am Ortler, Trafoi am Ortler, Vigiljoch and Watles.

With ski lifts as high as 2,260m, snow cover is generally reliable.

The Rittner Horn mountain range boasts an elevation of 2,260 meters and offers a variety of pistes, including the popular Panoramapiste. Key lifts such as the Rittnerhorn Gondola and the new Kreitlift provide easy access to the slopes, which are ideal for beginners and intermediates alike.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Rittner Horn is Bolzano, 67 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Verona, Brescia and Bergamo airports are all within three hours drive.

Bolzano is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Rittner Horn is easily accessible from Bolzano, located about 30 minutes away by car. Visitors can also take advantage of public transport, with regular bus services connecting the valley to the resort.

The three ski lifts are able to uplift 5,600 skiers and snowboarders every hour.
