Summary

Bled is part of the Bohinj ski area with access to 60km of downhill skiing, with 92 marked pistes, served by a total of 55 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Bled itself (3 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Bohinj ski resorts of Kobla, Kranjska Gora, Krvavec, Soriska Planina, Stari Vrh and Vogel.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bled is Ljubljana, 45 minutes drive away.

Klagenfurt, Trieste, Graz, Zagreb, Salzburg, Rijeka, Venice, Pula and Treviso airports are all within three hours drive.

Klagenfurt and Ljubljana are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The two ski lifts are able to uplift 4,150 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

When is Bled open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Early April.
