Bruson

A quiet mountain-side village across the valley from Verbier. Plans for a major lift expansion from here into a fifth valley, after which the '4 Valleys' will presumably be re-named.

The Swiss ski resort of Bruson is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,080m, with 44km of marked runs.

Bruson is part of the Four Valleys ski area with access to 412km of downhill skiing, with 205 marked pistes, served by a total of 92 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Bruson itself (44km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Four Valleys ski resorts of Evolène, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon les Collons, Verbier and Veysonnaz.

With ski lifts as high as 2,445m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bruson is Sion, 50 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Berne, Annecy, Turin Caselle, Basel, Chambery, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Zurich and Milan Malpensa airports are all within three hours drive.

Sion is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
