A pretty, traditional village with a mid-sized ski area, served almost entirely by drag lifts, accessed by a double chairlift from the valley floor. So a very old school ski area with, unusually mostly red intermediate and black graded trails, although is a god beginners area at the base of the runs and several blue progression runs.

The Swiss ski resort of Evolène is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,380m, with 43km of marked runs.

Evolène is part of the Four Valleys ski area with access to 412km of downhill skiing, with 205 marked pistes, served by a total of 92 ski lifts. With ski lifts as high as 2,700m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.
