In addition to the skiing in Alpbach itself (45km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski resorts of Auffach, Kramsach, Niederau, Oberau, Reith im Alpbachtal and Thierbach.

Alpbach is part of the Ski-Optimal area, featuring peaks that reach up to 2,500 meters. Notable pistes include the challenging 'Schatzberg' and the family-friendly 'Alpbach run', with efficient lifts like the 'Gmahbahn' and 'Ski-Optimal gondola' ensuring easy access to the slopes.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Alpbach is Innsbruck Airport, 45 minutes drive away.
Munich, Salzburg, Bolzano, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Linz, Memmingen and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.
Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Alpbach is easily accessible via major airports like Innsbruck and Salzburg. From there, visitors can take a train or shuttle bus to reach the resort quickly.

When is Alpbach open?

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Early April.
