Summary

Filzmoos is part of the Salzburger Sportwelt ski area with access to 760km of downhill skiing, with 144 marked pistes, served by a total of 270 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Filzmoos itself (12km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Salzburger Sportwelt ski resorts of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Flachau, Goldegg, Kleinarl, Radstadt, St. Johann-Alpendorf and Wagrain.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Filzmoos is Salzburg, 54 minutes drive away.

Klagenfurt, Munich, Ljubljana, Linz, Graz, Innsbruck Airport and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.

Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Infrastructure

Ski Lift Capacity

The eight ski lifts are able to uplift 10,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 11km of ski runs, with 28 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Filzmoos open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
