The ski area of Königsleiten is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,600m, with 160km of marked runs.

Summary

Königsleiten is part of the Zillertal Arena ski area with access to 322km of downhill skiing, with 143 marked pistes, served by a total of 112 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Königsleiten itself (160km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Zillertal Arena ski resorts of Gerlos and Zell am Ziller. Königsleiten is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Gerlos.

The ski resort itself is at 1,600m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,300m, snow cover is generally reliable.

The nearest airport to Königsleiten is Innsbruck Airport, 90 minutes drive away.

Salzburg, Munich, Bolzano and Klagenfurt airports are all within three hours drive.
