Ramsau am Dachstein

Made up of scattered hotels emanating from the village centre, Ramsau is located on a sunny plateau above the Enns valley. It is tenuously linked to the Schladming lift pass but is close to the gently sloped Dachstein Glacier giving year-round skiing.


The Austrian ski resort of Ramsau am Dachstein is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,200m, with 27km of marked runs.

Ramsau am Dachstein is part of the Dachstein-Tauern ski area with access to 197km of downhill skiing, with 41 marked pistes, served by a total of 45 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Ramsau am Dachstein itself (27km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Dachstein-Tauern ski resort of Schladming.

With ski lifts as high as 2,700m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

 By Air

The nearest airport to Ramsau am Dachstein is Salzburg, 70 minutes drive away.

Linz, Klagenfurt, Graz, Ljubljana, Munich and Innsbruck Airport airports are all within three hours drive.
