Galtür

The ski area of Galtür is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,600m, with 40km of marked runs.

Summary

Galtür is part of the Silvretta ski area with access to 480km of downhill skiing, with 145 marked pistes, served by a total of 101 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Galtür itself (40km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Silvretta ski resorts of Ischgl and Kappl.

The ski resort itself is at 1,600m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,300m, snow cover is generally reliable.

The nearest airport to Galtür is Innsbruck Airport, 80 minutes drive away.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Bolzano, Zurich and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.
