Hochfügen is part of the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area with access to 379km of downhill skiing, with 49 marked pistes, served by a total of 46 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Hochfügen itself (27 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski resorts of Aschau im Zillertal, Fügen and Kaltenbach.

With ski lifts as high as 2,400m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Hochfügen is Innsbruck Airport, 52 minutes drive away.

Munich, Salzburg, Bolzano, Memmingen, St. Gallen-Altenrhein and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
