The Austrian ski resort of Finkenberg is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 840m, with 143km of marked runs.


Finkenberg is part of the Tux - Finkenberg ski area with access to 227km of downhill skiing, with 24 marked pistes, served by a total of 59 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Finkenberg itself (143km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Tux - Finkenberg ski resort of Hintertux.

With ski lifts as high as 3,280m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.


There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.


Finkenberg offers some good boarding and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in Finkenberg.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Finkenberg is Bolzano, 48 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Munich, Salzburg and St. Gallen-Altenrhein airports are all within three hours drive.

Bolzano and Innsbruck Airport are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The nine ski lifts are able to uplift 60,452 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 105km of ski runs, with 200 snow cannons.
