A beautiful, fairy-tale village with a long tradition and one of the best snow records in Salzburgerland. Stunning views across Bavaria towards Carinthia. Lively après-ski and a car-free centre.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Lofer is Salzburg, 50 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Linz, Munich, Bolzano and Memmingen airports are all within three hours drive.

Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The 18 ski lifts are able to uplift 13,600 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 7km of ski runs, with 20 snow cannons.

When is Lofer open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
